Early Voting Assistant Douglas County Election Commission
Continued my previous duties as Early Voting Assistant for the 2019 Primary Election. Continued making improvements to the Intranet system while testing and training on its use during a live election.

Handling product support tickets for Community, Talent, and Teams, community management and meta participation, and some internal programming tasks. Plus a whole bunch of other random tasks, of course.

Early Voting Assistant Douglas County Election Commission
Responsible for supervising the operations of the Early Voting data entry clerks, contacting voters and nursing homes, and all other responsibilities mentioned in my previous position (Early Voting Data Entry Clerk). Originally scheduled for only the 2014 General Election but stayed on an extended period to help with various Intranet programming tasks.

Early Voting Data Entry Clerk Douglas County Election Commission
Responsible for entering voter registrations, processing early voting ballot applications, scanning outgoing and returned ballots, checking in returning ballots, opening returned ballots for counting, canvassing post-election, answering phones, and other tasks. Also served as Early Voting, Opening Board, and Ballot Return Supervisor on election day.

Ballot Printing & Packaging Douglas County Election Commission
Responsible for printing ballots for the 2013 Primary and General City of Omaha Mayor Election (and some school board stuff, etc) and wrapping them neatly in plastic wrap. I also helped with other tasks in the warehouse, such as preparing materials for precinct boxes, unpacking them, moving AutoMark machines, making Book 1 & Book 2, etc. There’s plenty to do.

Early Voting Consolidation Douglas County Election Commission
Helped consolidate early voting ballots for the 2012 General Presidential Election, which is basically putting the ballots and return envelope into an envelope, scanning them as mailed, and sealing them. Also helped with scanning in and sorting returned ballots, as well as scanning the request cards into the voting system.

On-Call Printer Attendant Standard Printing Company
Responsible for watching over the printer to keep it running as much as possible. Includes filling paper, changing toner, removing paper jams, and handling any other alerts that might occur with the digital printer.

Service Supervisor [Anonymous Grocery Store]
Supervised the frontend area, cashiers, customer service, and self-scans. Was in charge of the self-scan machines and also responsible for a lot of the paperwork, such as attendance, filing reports (such as write-ups), and other store-specific things.

This international organization is smiliar to Advanced Placement except they focus on different areas and techniques of learning. While I didn’t actually graduate with this program when I graudated from Millard North High School, it was definitely quite the challenge.

Student Explorer Omaha Police Department - Explorers Post 591
Post 591 was a program set up through the Boy Scouts with the Omaha Police Department to allow young students to learn about being a police officer. Through it, I also volunteered many times with the department, mainly through appearances with Johnny Justice and McGruff the Crime Dog at various events around the city, such as Scout Day and the Safety Expo.
